Crafty update!!!!

Good morning My Crafty Friends!

I am sitting here in my crafty space planning and reflecting on the last few days. I have completed a few Halloween projects (that i LOVE) and i am also mapping out a few projects in my head that i have yet to complete.

I have a very long list of to do's and my brain is busting at the seems. I am placing another rosette trim order on the first of November and those trims will be up for sale on my You Tube mid-November. I will be posting items there for sale until my blog is fully functioning. 

We are going to continue with U stream classes on Sundays at 1pm PST at least for this up coming Sunday Oct. 20 2013. We can take a vote on class time during class. Also depending on weather or not i am able to get the next installment for the memory map recorded and posted on my u stream page (i will not be live for that segment)by Friday evening will determine what we will be making in Sundays class.The next installment in the memory map series will be pre-recorded and posted for viewing on my u stream channel here is that link: www.ustream.tv/channel/scrapsbuttonsnbows

Welcome!

My name is Ashliegh. I am a married mother to 3. I have 3 beautiful grand babies and i have been happily married to the love of my life Mark for 5 years. We also have 2 4 legged children Who are my favorite (shh don't tell my hubby or kids).

I have only been crafting for about 2 years. I love it! It is more than just a hobby for me it is my passion and my addiction. I love most being able to share with what seems like the world the things i create.

I love making mini albums. My favorite paper lines are Graphic 45 and Marion Smith. My style is very much vintage with a mix of cottage and shabby chic. One of my favorite things to do is to embellish with paper flowers and my favorite flowers to use are wild orchid craft flowers. 

In the future i would like to try my hand more at mixed media, working with spays, gesso, masks and pastes. It is something i have always wanted to improve upon. I have done a few projects with mixed media and i have loved how they have turned out but i would love to venture out with color and kind of get away from my safe browns creams golds and blacks. I'm guessing practice (a lot of practice) will improve my skill.

I have decided to start this blog for the main purpose of keeping a crafty diary of my journey. But also to share with you my journey. My ultimate goal is to maintain a posting schedule of at least 2-3 times a week. I think for now until i figure this thing out that is a very workable goal. 

Here on my blog (once i figure it out lol) you will be able to keep up with my crafting adventures and read about my day to day crafty experiences. You will also be able to keep up with what is going on in my other media channels. I will be posting here for Ustream updates, project shares, you tube video links and giveaway updates. As well as anything else fun and funky in my crafty world

I am looking forward to this new chapter of my crafty life. My hopes are that all of you will be able to join me in my new adventure.
